Behind the Whimsy

Hey, I'm Brittany, the illustrator, pattern designer, and creative soul behind believablyMe Designs, where whimsy meets everyday life. I've loved art and drawing for as long as I can remember. Some of my happiest childhood memories involve various art classes and pretending to be Bob Ross, recording "paint with me" sessions on my tape recorded with my best friend. In 2014, I dipped my toes back into creativity by making handmade greeting cards (and getting way too excited about paper trimmers and stamps). That creative spark eventually led me back to art more fully in 2018, and I haven’t looked back since.

What started as a personal return to something I deeply missed quickly bloomed into something bigger: a joyful outlet where I could blend my love of drawing, color, and storytelling into designs that brighten the ordinary. Today, believablyMe Designs is my cozy corner of the internet where you’ll find original illustrations and surface pattern designs lovingly printed on everyday goods from home decor and accessories to stationery, mugs, and gifts (coming soon if you're reading this at launch lol).

My work is all about making the everyday more whimsical. Inspired by playful shapes, bold palettes, and the little moments that make life feel magical, each design is hand-drawn (usually on my iPad, often with snacks nearby) and made to spark joy, creativity, and self-expression. Whether it's a tote bag that makes you smile or a notebook that invites your next big idea, I hope each piece brings a little brightness to your day.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably making a spreadsheet for some random reason, gaming, coloring, or binging YouTube videos. I’m so glad you’re here, and it means the world to me to share this creative journey with you!
